5 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup cane sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon instant yeast
1 large egg
1½ cups whole milk
½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into 1/2″ cubes
oil for rubbing on dough
1 egg for egg wash
Swedish pearl sugar (optional)
½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
½ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
